Investing on Bitcoin might not be totally risk free due to volatility but it's a risk that's worth taking and if followed the right way, it comes with much profit in the future, Bitcoin is something that involves the future and to succed in investing on it you'll need to have the mindset of investing for longer period, why people fail and lose is cause they lack patience in holding and are not disciplined enough to avoid taking profits whenever it pumps but if an investor can follow the right process by holding for long-term, stay dedicated to the process, use good strategy like DCA then there's no way they'll complain about losing, cause the lose is recoverable, that's why it's a risk worth taking, compared to trading where you lose and lose out completely.

You almost hit the imaginary line between bitcoin traders and investors but deviated along the line. Talking about a bitcoin trader not investing the amount he can bear to loose in trading shows you underestimate the power of greed. Trading is like gambling, it comes with greed and traders believe that the more you invest the better chances of making it fast. With a traders mentality you can raise a skyscraper within a little time and can also get back to square one in the next instance.

Bitcoin investors have higher chances of investing only what they can afford to loose. This is because a real investor invests with his discretionary income and uses the DCA method. He doesn't have panic and never willing to withdraw anytime soon. He focuses more on investing than withdrawing and cares less about market value of bitcoin daily. Bitcoin investors don't worry about today, they think about decades to come and that is why they invest more than selling. He is not greedy and only invests what he can afford to loose at all time. When a bitcoin investor invests, it is right to say that he has sorted every of his basic responsibility which is why he can be able to hodl for a long period of time except in cases where life happens beyond what he could handle after exhausting every other options.
