They are ready to lie and make up stories about how they are being persecuted by bandits or tax authorities, and this lie shows how much such a dependent person does not respect his family and people around him. For him, bets and casinos are much more important than relationships with people around him.

The stories about these people are so horrible that it is hard to believe the crazy actions of very problematic gamblers.

One of the guys who wanted to make his wife feel sorry for him smeared his head with ketchup and sent her a photo, pretending that he was beaten. He tried to make her feel sorry and asked her to take out a loan and give him money. As if in this case the one who "beat" him would stop doing it. It is ridiculous and unbelievable. I can't imagine how ashamed these guys are when the truth comes out.

Gambling addiction has eaten up into the life of some gamblers to the extent of making terrible decisions and actions that seems to affect their own family. But the worst part of it al is that, they don't feel remourse for their action because all they can think of is chasing after their losses. Though some addicted gamblers do make some huge wins but they end up spending it on gamble again which could also fuel their passion for gambling and wanting to win at all cost. Its a shame how a grown up can lie to his family because of gamble or even sell some family property to gamble. Its better to avoid gamble for a while when you find out that you are getting addicted, then after resetting your mindset, you can continue gambling, chasing loses would only make things worse.
