I can’t argue with that...you’re absolutely right. Even if we ran an experiment where 100 people borrowed money to start gambling, I’m sure less than 10% would actually succeed. 

So, while borrowing money to gamble seems stupid in general, if someone has proven skills and manages to succeed, then for them, it’s not necessarily a bad move. It just means that for a small group of gifted gamblers, it might actually work.
