This was my first thought when I saw an offer in another topic. Offering a huge amount does not mean paying it. I don't want to talk about philipma1957; he is certainly priceless, but if someone hears an offer to sell an account for a fabulous amount of money, it does not mean that the offer should be taken seriously. Here in reputation, there were cases when someone told about how he was offered to sell an account, not a manager's account, not a source of merits, but a very ordinary account. And such stories seem to me only to add "weight" to their account and console their vanity.

There are offers on the Internet to buy high forum ranks, but no one will talk about it publicly here, only later, as history shows, such accounts pop up, revealing their lack of independence.
