I think Inter Milan could reach the top of the points table but they played a match a few days ago that they could not win in the match. If they didn't draw in that match, their points would have been much higher. Yet they still have enough opportunities to rise to the top of the points table. Inter Milan will face Fiorentina in their next match and they may have to win this match if they want to move to the top of the points table, because the team they will face in that match is relatively weaker than them, this might be their best opportunity. If Inter Milan can perform in that match according to their previous record, then they are most likely to win that match.

In the previous seasons we have seen Inter Milan at the top position of the points table from the beginning but this season something is different as Napoli have been performing well since the beginning of the season due to which they are occupying the top position of the points table. But very soon the situation of the points table is going to change as Inter Milan is very close to Napoli and in the next match they might equalize their points gap. If the points gap is equal, Inter Milan will try to perform more aggressively and they may increase the points gap with Napoli and move to the top position of the points table. In the previous season, Inter Milan and AC Milan were number one and number two in the points table, but Napoli is performing as well as AC Milan in the second position of the points table last season but did not perform so well.
In other words, there was always a big difference in points between them and Inter Milan.
