Home match or not, I think that Sporting Lisbon is the favorite in this duel between them and Borussia Dortmund. The home game is an advantage for both teams and I am aware that Dortmund has an incredible audience supporting them in their home stadium, which actually has been a huge advantage forever for them. But if you all sum it up, I think that Sporting is the slightly better and smarter team away from home. they are better at defending a lead with all tricks there are. Dortmund has been very susceptible to giving away leads this season and they have been very susceptible to surprisingly easy goals against them and this is what a team like Sporting knows how to exploit. My pick for this round is that Sporting will make it although I prefer Dortmund as a team in general. But not this season though as it was not fun to follow them.

Actually saying Sporting is better for some might be true but in this case I prefer to be realistic when talking about the layout of forces as well as the goal productivity that occurs in the statistics in a match.

Sporting are still a good club but at the end of the day when it comes to the Champions League at the moment their attack isn't much better and their defense is a bit worse than Dortmund at the moment. So in the end this could also be a situation where ultimately the home game becomes the reference point.
I still feel that Dortmund might be able to qualify for the next phase for the play offs this time but for the match in the first leg when Sporting is the favorite everything still refers to the match that will be at their home which makes this an advantage for the rest there is nothing they can be proud of from Dortmund because indeed at this time Dortmund is slightly above them in terms of attacking quality and confidence even though for the size of the quality of their players is still quite balanced.
