I will put Dortmund ahead. Sporting had a good start to the Champions League. Even the top spot in the Liga Portugal table is still in Sporting's hands. However, Sporting has failed to win in the last four matches of the Champions League. Sporting has lost three matches and drawn one.
However, Sporting won 4-1 against Manchester City in this year's Champions League. However, when this happened, Amorim was the coach of Sporting. So the possibility that Sporting will be able to play well and win in the match against Dortmund is somewhat low.

Due to this experience and quality in Champions League without any problem they can enjoy win while Sporting CP is facing trouble in last four games they have winless streak which is also not good next few games are important for Dortmund because this will give them better shape at the end of season.
Sporting CP performance was balance but due to exit of Amorim now they are trying to have back on good run which will take time hopefully next season could be on good level.
Both teams are in coach transition at the moment, but with a better mentality of course dortmund is more favoured in the match, because I see the new sporting coach has not been able to maximise the squad they have at the moment, in contrast to dortmund who did appoint a coach from clubs internal as their temporary coach, so he can more quickly understand Dortmund even though he has just taken over the team, losing Amorim has a very bad impact on sporting, when they were a very strong team previously but instead they are currently declining drastically in the last four Champions League matches, with three defeats and one draw and this shows if the change of coach and strategy does not make them better.
If I had to bet on the match, I personally would not hesitate to choose Dortmund as the winner, because in terms of mentality, ability and also their experience is much better than Sporting at this time even though they also just changed the coach.
