In fact dopamine may be the one to lead to destruction of people’s lives it’s often dopamine that addicts come from and this prevents them from reaching their full potential. There is a difference between staying motivated and just indulging your bad habits to make you feel good.

infact dopamine has a half-life of one minute.. serotonin has a 24 hour half life
so the instant hit reward hormone is dopamine and the overall daily weekly happiness is serotonin.. so those chasing for a dopamine hit will be chasing it alot and replacing it often with something else(illicit drug) to fill the gap
