Juventus must be able to win at home when hosting PSV even though the PSV team has better motivation when they were able to beat a strong team like Liverpool in the Champions League this season in the previous standings. However, for the match in the play-off round, I think both teams must play better because PSV also should not underestimate the Juventus team even though the team is not very consistent if we look at its current domestic league. Because in the Champions League, each team has a very different motivation when facing any opponent.
In a knock out phase like this, Juventus can use their experience and traditional defense and counter attack tactic of Italian football, to beat PSV. Juventus are not too strong in attacking as they shown in many matches so far, but if they can defend well, and sacrifice ball possession to PSV, I believe that PSV will show some weakness in defense. It will give Juventus some opportunities to exploit with counter attacks, but their attacking players must play well and even better than their usual performances in this season.
Juventus have more star players and I'd like to choose them than PSV, but with inconsistent form of Juventus, PSV will have chance to win as well.
