Does anyone ask what they borrow money for? No one asked me about this. Only later did it turn out that I spent it in a casino. After that, no one lent me money. Yes, you are right. You should not indulge people and support their addiction, but at first it is difficult to find out the details. People trusted me and I let them down when I did not return the money on time. After all this, people did not even communicate with me, and some of them crossed me out of their lives. This is how to be addicted to gambling.

I'm always interested in what they want to borrow money from me for. If the money is needed for alcohol, gambling, some other entertainment that this person can do without, I will never go for it. If I lend money to someone, it is only for really necessary things. By the way, I noticed that by introducing this rule in my life around me became less people whose purpose was to borrow money. In fact, this is a very good solution because it eliminates from your social circle people without whom life becomes calmer.

You have a very good mindset, my friend, not lending money to others because the money will be used for something that is not too important and will actually endanger the gambler is a very right decision, it does not mean you are stingy but you care about the long-term safety of the person who will borrow the money, honestly I would rather be called a stingy person than I give them a loan which indirectly is the same as me supporting the wrong actions that will be done by the person, and it does not mean that it is impossible for them to eventually blame us for lending them money.

Basically, in general, loans are an option that is used as an intermediary or alternative to overcome problems that occur urgently, so it is more directed at the goal of overcoming problems of needs that cannot be tolerated in the long term and as we know that gambling or alcohol is part of the desire because there is no obligation or coercion from any party that tells us to gamble at that time, so it really doesn't matter if you prefer not to give them a loan.
