Even though you make more profit from buying the dip, there’s no reason for an investor to wait for the dip before buying, the dip might never happen so why waste time when profits no matter how small can be made. Also, who would think the opposite that it’s best to buy the top. Just like you said there is no best time to buy because it can be bought at any time. Another strategy is buying at a specific interval, through this compunded profits can be made.

The best time to buy and hold is now because we don't know what will happen in the market. Price could keep going bullish while you are still waiting to buy at the dip. The dip is one of the best pont to make profits from the market and at the same time, it could be somehow difficult to predict where and when we are at the dip. You might not know the best time to buy it you are actually looking to buy at the dip. The dip will always come for us especially if you understand the market movement and structure very well. Traders are easy to spot these dips but sometimes it might not really look like a dip, maybe a fake out that could look like you are actually buying the dip when price keeps going down.

I stand on that ground with you cause I don't support that one have to wait for the value of Bitcoin to drop before they start investing on it or add to their portfolio if they've started investing already, any entry is very much okay, which makes the statement that theirs no best time very legit, many missed out on making more profits cause they were still waiting for the market to keep going down but woke up to see that it went the other way round and before they knew it Bitcoin was already on the it's way to 100k last year, same thing currently, some people are procrastinating on buying cause they feel the price would still dip but suprisenly they could wake up to see Bitcoin heading to $150k. The market is very unpredictable so people should buy at any time and take advantage of the Dip periods when opportunity arises.
