I redid my work and checked it a little more closely this time (okay a lot more). I'm not saying it's perfect but it paints a much more accurate picture than my previous lies.
NFL revenue was 19299 (€ mil) whereas professional Association football revenue for all leagues (best data available¹) was 40839.72 (€ mil)

Impressive list.

I would look at viewing figures though, say viewing figures for the biggest game in NFL and the biggest game in football so the World Cup Final or the Champions League Final.
