On way to lose in business is, investing in a business or field you know nothing about. That’s a wrong move that a couple of persons make. Because you heard a particular field of business or investment is booming and at its peak, you rush in not to loose out and in the end, you loose out! This disruptive situation is usually brought about by lack of knowledge on a trade or field of investment. You’ve got to take necessary steps to be informed on an investment before going in big.

Not saying you're not making sense but there are many stories of people taking a bold steps investing in business they know nothing about and they're billionaires today. What people call being lucky is just when your preparation meets an opponent that you didn't take for granted.

Don't just run away from an investment opportunity because you don't know anything about it. There are people that you'll just have to trust that they can do a better job and you invest into them. For most investors, they aren't investing into your idea but the person at the front/behind of the idea because they believe in them.

It'll just be wrong betting against Elon musk to succeed because he has a track record of success. So it isn't always necessary to know everything, maybe just having an ideas is fine and you could make a fortune from the investment.
