your statement is a little bit confusing because your first sentence says that bitcoin doesn't guarantee profit even if you hold it for a long period of time which is wrong by the way, but normally in bitcoin returns are not guaranteed, because it is volatile in nature, just as you make money when the price goes up, you can also loose money when the price goes down, but to be on the safer side just buy your bitcoin and hold for long period of time, because there is no investment without a risk.

Well everything should be corrected according to its nature and everything doesn't have guarantee since risk is always their knowing how volatile Bitcoin is. But people should not get afraid with it since if they focus for long term and make the historical data as guide of their investment then they can provably figure out that there's more good chance to earn on Bitcoin if they hold it for long term rather than thinking about short term trades with this coin.

People would really be on best side if they choose to HODL since they provably could avoid thinking to much the negativity on ongoing market collapsed and could focus on better side then accumulate more volume which provably rewarding for them in future.
