Clubs in La Liga always seem to take turns to feel bad performance because these 3 clubs (Barcelona, Atletico and Madrid) have all felt at the top of the standings but their performance on several occasions is always bad which makes the competition more pronounced and the top of the standings change over time.

The momentum is now with Barcelona after they had to struggle due to some poor results in the middle of the season but now the situation could be reversed where Barcelona return to the top and the two Madrid clubs follow again under Barcelona for the next few weeks if in the end Barcelona can get 3 points over Rayo.
