You are absolutely correct that is the real truth about it, because as a good gambler once you see gambling as an entertainment or having fun you wouldn't experience any much losses in gambling. Already as gambler we most expect winning but let it be something that we don't rely on, so that even if we don't win will would be able to control ourself without panicking.

Gambling for fun reduces the desperation to win and it'll make you to feel relaxed while gambling. I don't take gambling too seriously and that is why I use small amounts for it because I know that wins is by luck, not because you are too perfect. Responsible gambling for me is to have a budget for it and be disciplined not to exceed it because gambling can be addictive if you don't have self control. Lack of control in gambling is what causes irresponsibility and that is how a gambler will gradually drift to becoming addicted. Control yourself not to chase loses or be overconfident to continue when winning, know your limit for the day and stick by it

Absolutely right and well spoken, gambling for fun has made me incline myself to gambling with a very little amount of money only, one ive never had any course of regret if I am not so lucky and ended up losing it all.

The truth remains that, it's actually better to gamble for fun than do it for money, I myself have practiced the both sides, that is, I have gambled for money and have gambled for fun purposes only, and indeed, pursing money through gambling can be draining, the anxiety and fraustration that come with this can make life not worth living for anyone who is always very unlucky and always on a losing streak.

And one thing we all should as well note again is that gambling is not meant for everyone, not everyone should be gambling, most especially those who find it hard, or will it hard to bear even small loses.
