Bangladesh secured a semi-final of the Champions Trophy with a hard-fought win over New Zealand. Shakib Al Hasan is not in the Bangladesh team in this season of Champions Trophy, not having an all-rounder like Shakib Al Hasan means it is a big minus point for Bangladesh. Since Shakib Al Hasan was a professional all-rounder, he could bowl professionally as well as batting professionally, so playing Shakib Al Hasan in the team means playing an extra batsman or an extra bowler in the team.

Nazmul Hossain will be the captain in the Shanta Champions Trophy although he is not in good form but as a team we will definitely expect a good performance from Bangladesh.
