The issue of electricity is something that has been there since the time of even our colonization and when we got to gain independence and the funny thing is that there are so many government that have come and go yet still no vital solution to the issue if am not mistaken I would even call this electricity problem in Nigeria as one of the never ending business of political power head that have yielded them so much profit that it has gotten a regular of issue of everyone government ranting same old things about fixing the power supply.

In general with the most states and cities put in total, Nigeria is suffering from poor power supply even for those using paid meters still don't get the benefit of what they paid for, the meter for those with appliances dissolves faster, this has been a big problem in the country majority of big instances are in large cities, some states and cities in some locals, those with resources like oil locations enjoys electricity supplied by the company or for those on federal highways that get's the least of free power supply.

Nigeria is supposed to have a steady power supply, things we are slacking being shamed by our fellow African countries, at times i don't blame the whole government, majority of the failures we see are comes from any of the hierarchy of government in charge, all of them wants to gain extra cash mostly from the fuel stations and gas station, steady electricity or well programmed electricity will send those business to massive slow down, they get benefits from the shut down of electricity.
