That is possible situation. We know Lewandowski contract with Barcelona will end in 2026 so club might think about selling him to Saudi Arabian team before that. If they wait until his contract is over he will be free to join any team he wants and Saudi Arabian teams will probably try to outbid each other to sign him. This could mean Barcelona won't get as much money for him. Since Lewandowski is 37 years old it makes sense for Barcelona to focus on getting younger players. Selling Lewandowski could give Barcelona money they need to bring in new players and build stronger team for future.

Lewandowski is no longer young so it is likely that no team will want to buy Lewandowski at a high price so I think it is not a guarantee that the Barcelona team will get fresh money from the sale of Lewandowski, in fact I think Barcelona should focus now on maximizing Lewandowski's contribution to the team because so far Lewandowski has contributed quite a lot to the team and he is one of the important pillars for the progress of Barcelona's performance this season.
