I know that it is very overwhelming while gathering information on how to become a successful trader or at least become an effective one. Take one step at a time and extract the most important ones based on what you think as a newbie in trading.

I am not very well in trading but what I can share with you is to be patient at all times. To be more precise, many have become successful not being a trader as you wish but by simply becoming a holder/investor.

So, I guess that gives you a hint why many here understands the word HODL because it's been effective for most of us and the strategy? the DCA.
