Stable coins are coins that are pegged to the currency value of a country. The facilitate easy liquidity when you want to cash out any crypto assets. e.g of such stablecoins include USDT, USDC pegged to the dollar value. They're not expected to grow or increase in value beyond the value of US dollar and it's ideal to store your backup funds if you don't want to use traditional Fiat and for the record, they're not investment coins since you don't expect any ROI from them. They're not shitcoins, but stablecoins and serves a different purpose.

Shitcoins are various pump and dump crypto projects which people mistakenly see as investment opportunities, which most of them want to get quick profits from and end up possibly losing their funds when liquidity is removed, trapping late investors. Shitcoins should not be seen as an investment medium, Bitcoin core values and foundation is stronger than all competitors and it's a valid investment concern which should be taken seriously to secure your financial future.

You cannot hope to secure your financial future by going into shitcoins, because they can disappear at any time, but long-term investment into Bitcoin has proven historically to be the best option and continues to validate that and it remains the best choice for investors with a long-term vision. It's more profitable to accumulate Bitcoin and hold for a long-term.

SuperBitMan, could've used the word 'stablecoins' to qualify shitcoins because they don't have the potentials to rally and reach ATH, meaning they don't have growth therefore not profitable. But for the record stablecoins are not pump and dump shitcoins like you said because they are pegged to fiat currencies. Anybody should never compare altcoins to Bitcoin, they're all cryptocurrency but there's a reason why Bitcoin stands out and the rest are called altcoins. Bitcoin is decentralized unlike altcoins that are centralized and can be manipulated, that is why I consider them as scams.

Satoshi, created Bitcoin and vanished, he/she/them has no influence whatsoever on the price, so it's the forces of demand and supply that determines it's price. Bitcoin has gained the reputation as a store of value and the longer you hodl the more ROI you get, depending on the stash you have accumulated. You can't say the same thing about altcoins, hold them at your own peril because you're gambling your funds, newbies that doesn't know this fact might learn from experience in the future when their altcoins is either static or dead.
