I understand that after Real - City in the 1/16 you can make any pairings you want, but aren't there too many national derbies? This is not why we love European Cups.

And if you had said at the beginning that Real and Bayern would end 11th and 12th in the group stage people would have asked you what you're smoking Grin

Lille and Bayer qualified from the start while those two playing in the play-offs and Juventus and City did not even make it to the next stage.
