You're making my point for me. He paid all but $35 back apparently, which means the lender is only technically losing $35 not including interest. Interest IMO is not part of the principle it's the extra. Of course the lender wants his interest, but technically he isn't out a bunch.

Pakhitheboss borrowed and agreed to terms and owes the rest of the loan and interest, that's not in dispute. My point was just that overall shasan lost very little on the loan.
i agree with you on that. my bad, i thought you meant he is only out $25 including the interest.

i did the math again and my numbers were way off. oopsie.
looks like he paid back $650, which is more than what he borrowed, so technically @Shasan is only out on interest, he even made $50 profit. so yeah, he will be fine.
