I've seen a lot of threads that talks about Bitcoin sensitization, and the benefits that could come with it.
Some say the Nigerian people need to be enlightened more about Bitcoin and crypto in general.
Yes quite frankly that's correct, but one thing I've keenly observed in the attitude of some certain Nigerians,
Infact a lot Nigerians is that they have this sharp-sharp mindset / mentality.
If you take a look at some of our Youths today especially those into fraudulent activities, you can't tell me they're not aware of Bitcoin or crypto
But due to negligence and the urge to get rich quick the just cannot be patient.
So tell me how does a person with such mentality go into Bitcoin that requires patience and a long term goal.
This Bitcoin sensitization is good but it's not naturally meant to be received by everyone!!!
Talking about Bitcoin a good percentage or number of the general public especially in in Nigeria take any thing crypto or Bitcoin as though it's fraud know as Yahoo Yahoo
Really I think both the youth and the general public needs to be enlightened about crypto currency a whole lot of time fraud is what come to the mind of people when you mention crypto or Bitcoin I think it's high time we change the narrative
Crypto education and enlightenment is exactly what is needed in a country like this at this time
I think more people getting to really know what crypto and Bitcoin is will do more good than harm because a lot of the youths who can do greatly in crypto currency still do not know how to achieve that using crypto
The level of unemployment amongst the youth is part of the reasons a whole lot of them go into unreasonable things like fraud but I think if the level of exposure to crypto currency can increase by at least 50% I think the level of cyber crimes will definitely be reduced drastically in a way
People who are already exposed to crypto should also spread the knowledge it will go a long way especially in this trying times of our economy my humble opinion though.
Talking about the adamant mindset of the Nigerian youth no doubt our youths are just after quick and fast money but I think if the pressure is high on the sensitization and evidences are shown then there will be conviction and more people will think of Bitcoin instead of fraud
