He got the highest rating, which is showing how professional he is even when he's not young anymore. I wonder whether Real Madrid will keen to give him another one year. I know they must focus on the young talent's development, but having Modric for the leadership purpose is really beneficial to the club.

I must admit how he still better than many of young midfielders.

Luka Modric has very small body and he is not physically strong like Cristiano Ronaldo but about professionality and ambition, they are both nearly the same. Luka Modric actually gets older and this fact reflects on his less appearances and less playing minutes for Real Madrid but when he was given chance of playing, he always did as best as he can.

Yesterday he made another fantastic goal and it's unbelievable that at his age, he could manage to make a powerful distant shot like this.

Modric is a player who can sacrifice his individual priviledge to contribute more for his teams as shown in Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid and Croatia. He did not require too much wage for signing a new contract and I really believe that he will open for any one-year contract offer from Real Madrid. He knows that it is great opportunity for him, and by continuing his career with Real Madrid he will have chances to win more Champions League title and become a most successful player in history in total Champions League titles.
