I agree with that, But I wasn't talking about addicted people. I know they won't be satisfied with a three-digit win; they will always look for big wins. I was talking about wealthy people or high rollers who usually look for big wins as their bankroll is big, and they place big bets as well. If someone makes a few thousand dollars per month, I am sure they won't be too excited after winning $400. This should apply everywhere in the world. But if I make $400 a month, regardless of where I am from, I will be too excited with such a win.
Addiction is bad and with addictive gamblers, traders or investors, big win is not enough for them. They will continue to chase more wins, bigger wins, and ignore fact that there is no forever lasting win streak and luckiness won't stay with anyone forever.
Chasing more wins, bigger wins with time only bring more unwanted results for their gambling/ trading/ investing especially the first two types that are more risky and unpredictable and uncontrollable than investment. With gambling, if you win big, an advice is withdraw your initial gambling capital, keep it safe. Then you can let your rest money running with more bets, but make sure you knowing that it's bad to increase your capital bet size after any big win.
