At this moment, I don't think it's debatable again that Paris Saint Germaine are going to retain the French league title at the end of the season. Marseille started the league campaign on a very good note which made many of us to start considering them as a strong contender for the league title this season but unfortunately for them, they couldn't stay consistent enough to give PSG a good run for their money. Their defeat at Auxerre over the weekend came as a surprise to me because but I think it was Derek Cornelius' red card that aided the home team to win that game. At the moment, I think the best Marseille can do is to fight to maintain their current position in the league table so they'll be guaranteed UEFA Champions League football next season.
Except PSG , no other team in Ligue 1 has a consistent performance. At the beginning of the season, we thought Marseille, Lille and Monaco were strong. But no team has been able to maintain a good performance. Marseille, who are in second place in the table, are 13 points behind PSG. It is impossible to reduce such a big gap.

But I am waiting for the PSG vs Liverpool match. Basically, the match will be Luis Enrique vs Arne Slot. Enrique is a very experienced coach, no doubt about it. However Liverpool is a very strong team compared to PSG. I am sure that everyone will consider Liverpool as the favorite in this match. However there is nothing surprising in seeing PSG surprise.
