This is a common saying in the capitalist system but as an educated scholar, you would have known the direction the money is going. The arm robbers with briefcase and the controllers of the economy are the two parties collecting the money and the poor take the left over changes. The money is going directly to the business tycoons and key politicians.
Centralized Bank of a country is meant to maintain the financial department for the capitalist gang.

Clearly, the money goes through to the government officials. And these politicians are most of the time become the business tycoons so that people would not doubt them where they get their wealth, getting into business is the only key. This is probably the reason why such economy does not really grow and progress, because the opportunities and privileges are focused on them, while leaving the poor individuals with nothing but more sufferings and struggles especially in financial aspect.

Now this might lead to a question. The poor and the rich, who buy things from the businessmen. Some will say the rich because it is the rich will go and buy the first products from the industry ow as a wholesale. How many wholesale distributors or stores do we have in our localities. And how many retail stores do we have in our localities? Who consume more goods? All those questions will channels back to the poor yet the government will not create a friendly environment for the poor to live and buy things.
But he is only focus and care about the politicians and the business tycoons.
