They are still dominant in the EPL and have advanced to the last 16 of the UCL as leaders, I think your doubts about Liverpool ability are completely unfounded.
The real match will be in the semi-finals if Liverpool and Real Madrid both qualify for that round, as for who will advance to the final, I can't say anything now.
