I am not sure if it is only in UFC, but I dont recall much eyes pokes in other promotions. Maybe because UFC have more fights, more popular and we have more chances to notice that. Maybe its because of their gloves. But this has been a problem for years, and there is no solution so far. New gloves are same crap as old.
