If we have no good self-control, we are very possible to lose all our money in a single day. We often saw many suggestion that a gambler must have a self-control and he/she must can deal with his/her emotion. This is very crucial in gambling to avoid the case of chasing the wins to recover the losses. If we have good self-control, I'm very sure there will be no case of gambling too excessively. And if every can gamble in a proper way, the case of addiction can be reduced. We must be always careful with our gambling habits. It will be very bad if we are experiencing severe addiction because it won't easily to recover.

No one that has ever fall into addiction and comes out so easily because addiction is another bad disease of its own, therefore whatever a gambler does fighting addiction should be their major priority and, also when gambling they should be that open to positioned themselves into addiction as it is a major problems while gambling. Whenever greed is overcome then we can say addiction wouldn't have that priorities over a gamblers because they already they have tackled it from the beginning.
