Everyone who has opened a channel or has finished syncing a node has been sent their merits - so far, just one person but if you guys have any new progress on your nodes, post them here please

I do have a lightning node with 3 open channels, but I 'd like to keep them private.
I was thinking about setting up a new one for this challenge.
Phoenix opens up and manages channels for you, does it count? Because it's technically running a node on your mobile device, but it helps you avoid much hassle.
Yes, of course, you can do that.
I discovered I can't open a channel on phoenix wallet. I had to switch to blixt wallet now my challenge is getting a node URL. How do I go about that? What is inbound liquidity in layman's term?

Blixt runs bitcoin full node compared to phoenix wallet. Here is the latest sync as at when I edited this post
That's good. Let me know if it has finished syncing because maybe there has been some progress since you posted this.
Regarding the node URL, all you need is the channel ID, and then there are a couple of sites that allow you to "claim" your node like 1ML. If you go to their wesites then they have some instructions for doing that.

Great job!
Thanks for bringing up this initiative. I have a very limited knowledge about the lightning network.
This experiment of yours could really help me elevate my knowledge on the lightning network.
I am about to give this a try. I haven't used my
Bitcoin Full Node on Raspberry Pi 400 for quite some time now and so this will help me sync my bitcoin core up to date.
I'll post here as soon as the whole blockchain is downloaded and to show that I am not bluffing here's a screenshot of the progress.

Do keep us updated.
