In last two decades, Dortmund are the most challenging and stable competitor against Bayern Munich in Bundesliga but in most seasons, Bayern Munich won Bundesliga titles. After having a very impressive season with 'nearly' win Bundesliga and Champions League titles but eventually end that season with no title that all goes to Bayern Munich, Dortmund began their fall. Many star players left Dortmund recent seasons like Sancho, Haaland, Jude and they failed to replace those star players with new ones, it takes them more seasons to come back.
