I don't see much of a future for Man City as they are unable to maintain their consistency. Winning the title is more of a formality for Liverpool now unless something incredible happens it will definitely be in their favour. It is uncertain how much of an advantage it will be for Arsenal who are thirteen points behind but I will praise their consistent play but being so far behind the chance of strengthening their position by winning the next match is very small. In this regard Nottingham and Man City are trying to maintain their position and secure their place in the Champions League next season.
Usually a club like Man City that has abundant funds will get out of the slump faster than other clubs. They have enough resources to bring in quality players. Even though there are still many games yet to be played, Liverpool is already certain to become the new champions in the EPL because Arsenal has started to wave the white flag after being left so far behind Liverpool.
Man City has started to find its best performance slowly, the top four position is their target so they can appear in the UCL next season.
I don't really think Manchester city's ordeal can be resolved by the huge resources available to the team, rather I think the only way the team can get out of this mess is by a mental therapy because it is obvious that the entire team is suffering from some sort of mental issues which has greatly impacted the squad negatively and if nothing is done, then they might suffer a worse fate come next season, bringing in new players wouldn't be a bad idea but first the team needs some psychological support for the players in order to get them motivated so they play like the champions that once ruled Europe and England because right now they seem like a youth team.
