What do you mean by moderately? I dont think there is any moderate way to gamble. There is only one way to gamble which is gambling with what we can afford to let go in case of loss anything that makes us not to follow this simple rule will surely lead to regret.

Bankroll management is what we should talking about here. If the money we allocated for gambling weekly,daily or monthly has finished we should not exceed to tap from any other money we kept for something else. Make this a rule we wont have any problem gambling.
