Do you mean this game? I just tried the game, honestly, it looks boring because it's the same as flappy bird. It would be nice if in the future the $PEP project had a more fundamental case study or adoption like P2E which causes addiction.

For the first thing:
Yes it is merged mined and right now, mining pools like Binance, Mining Dutch, ViaBTC, AntPool... Basically all mining pools that mine LTC and Doge are mining it and paying to miners.

For the second thing:
Flappy Pepe is basically first P2E game which made people create gambling stuff like throw PEP coin and see if you win as example for this is https://toss.nestex.one/ . There was also another but that one was shut down I dont remember why.
