Seems I have an occasion similarly related to this somehow. It's about my direct junior sibling, he got to know about bitcoin years before me. It was in the early stage of bitcoin when the value was really next to nothing to care much about, that was when he got introduced to it by a customer who came to their barbing salon to have a haircut.

Being a regular customer he knows the man was able to explain much about bitcoin as at that time to him and was able to convince him to give it a shot. Fast forward, young bruh was able to buy bitcoin worth $50 and was stored in a wallet which the man helped him to create. According to him he had the password to the wallet and seed phrase all given to him but carelessly placed it where he can't even remember. This was all in 2013.

Severally he had reminiscence on this with me, and from his expression you could feel the regret of a loss of opportunity due to his carelessness and lack of conviction that bitcoin could get to the value it has gotten to presently.
