That's human for you, they are too quick to judge. It's not only Xavi that this has happened to. I could remember when Bayern hired Kompany, we heard similar critics, but Kompany shut up their mouths. I believe if Xavi is hired, he will do his best for Juventus to make sure that they're back to form. Xavi was successful in Barcelona, because he won the title for them two seasons ago.

I was one of those people who thought Kompany was a terrible choice, and to be fair I still think he isn't a great choice neither, after all making Bayern be the champion at Bundesliga is something you and I can do too, last year was a shocker, but rest of the time a 250+ million salary team, against at best a 70 million salary team or lower, of course Bayern would win the title, not a shocker.

However, I also accept that Kompany did better than I expected, I thought he would barely stay at the top, like just a few point gap, but he really dominated the league, so he did fine. Xavi to Juventus makes sense to me though, I loved him at Barcelona and was upset when he was sacked, I thought he would do better if they just gave him one more season. So if he goes to Juventus, I would be happy.
