This is not exactly a charity, but it is a worthy cause in my view. An open source movie is in the works that wants to portray life in a resource based economy and the idea of a better world for all people. I have recently persuaded them to accept bitcoin donations for their work. For those of you who are interested in donating to or following the progress of this project, I highly encourage you to check out their sample video and take note of their current and ongoing accomplishments.

I will maintain a list of all suggested charitable organizations offered up by users. I'll be adding your suggestion to that list, thereby opening it up for discussion. Thank you kindly for this contribution.

I would avoid any political, religious, or ideology based charities, as they are way too divisive. This one was especially so on just this forum alone.

We may even consider the following source during the evaluation stage: https://www.google.com/search?aq=f&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=worse+charities

this is not entirely true though, they get 100% BTC but then when they need to exchange it to USD or what have they there will be some % sliced off of that

Maybe one of the exchanges would be willing to work with non-profits to offer them commission free one-way trades.  Would be nice to offer any prospective Bitcoin100 charities completely fee free donations.

I believe this is in the works. That way they incur no transfer fees when converting BTC to fiat. Although it would be a better option to have them spend Bitcoin on products and services they currently buy now using their donated fiat currency.
