Trump never seemed to learn that a tariff war is bad, even when it was clear that the trade deficit was getting worse. I wasn’t a Trump voter, but I still regret believing he would make the USA great. Even early in his term, his actions were so aggressive, like they weren’t even well thought out. So I get why he’s being criticized now. But his ability to manipulate is still strong as many people still believe in him, especially when he makes statements that can hype the market.
