Many have criticized Liverpool performance in the first leg, and I agree that they were lucky to win. Alisson Becker was impressive, he denied many PSG chances, in my opinion it was his best performance of the season. I am quite sure that luck will be on PSG side in the second leg if Arne Slot does not change his squad game strategy, considering that Luis Enrique is very experienced in reading his opponent's weaknesses. Given the ambition of both teams, it is likely that both will be able to score goals.
It was that serious to earn some outright criticism, given the form they are in and the performance they gave, it was well below expectation but, they somehow came by that miracle and Elliott handed it over to them. They really were lucky to have escaped PSG with that win and they did it at the PSG home. They would have a better chance defending that at the Anfield though, I really hope to see better from them in the second leg.
