Indeed Liverpool were very lucky on the night not to have conceded a goal or more from PSG’s dangerous attacking play throughout the game. If anyone deserves to win based on performance it should be PSG clearly. I hope Liverpool do not perform this way in tge second leg if not they might not be as lucky as they were in the first leg but defensively they were good and Allison’s brilliance was the highlight of the day.

Liverpool should not rely on luck again in the second leg, in my opinion, their success in keeping a clean sheet at PSG headquarters was because they managed to build a solid defense and Allison also performed brilliantly that night. Repeating the achievement achieved in the first leg is more difficult than when they achieved it, PSG certainly will not stay silent when playing at Anfield, they will continue to try to improve the quality of their game in order to advance to the quarter-finals. Liverpool will have to work harder to maintain their lead.
