Russia was always ready for a peace talk but at current time, Russia is in no hurry.
If Russia was always ready for a peace talk, why they had to start this war? They're ready for peace negotiations, but things haven't changed since March 2022 - they only ready to talk with their initial conditions and these conditions basically means capitulation of Ukraine. Like, return of even part of occupied land to Ukraine can't be even questioned. It's nothing strange that Ukraine can't accpet such conditions.
