I can't tell you anything about football because I don't have much idea about it but overall in learning about sports I got something to say:

You must be passionate about sports, which I believe comes from environment you grew up in, and then with passion, watching and keeping track of it comes naturally, which will result in knowledge and hereon you'll be able to take part in discussions with knowledge obtained.

Not really that hard to learn up a particular sports if your passion is really that getting in line with your interest and preference on which its really that better or best to deal up with sports betting into the things that you are really that involving into because at the time you will really be betting on sports that you dont even know then this do basically shows that you are really that betting for the sake of money and not for entertainment but well its really just that a very normal thing for most of us on which we would really be lying if we wont be liking on earning money with gambling or betting. So it will really be that up to you as long you do know on what you are dealing with then its just fine. Its your money then it will really be that your rights on how to make use of it. The wrong thing on here is that on the time or moment that you will be spending up a huge amount of money or spending up into the amount on which you cant afford to lose because people who are really that going excessive then this is things becomes messy.
