I actually didn't see this coming because ordinarily one would think that Marseille would win this game considering their home advantage and squad but it was such a disappointment for the home side losing all 3 points without any player coming to the rescue, though Lens are a very good team whom are capable of creating such surprises but I couldn't comprehend how Marseille couldn't even find the back of the net in a game that was played in their home ground, it's just amazing how football can be at times, just like how Manchester city lost to Nottingham Forest by a lone goal.

Marseille really disappointed me in that defeat, many were saying that Marseille would be the only obstacle for PSG in times of winning the league but now it is clear that they can't stop PSG in winning the title. Marseille are 16 points away from PSG, this gap is huge and I don't think there is any team that can stop them, it will take PSG to lose almost 5 matches before they can be over throne which I found impossible because no any teams can stand their way. Lens shocked everyone including Marseille because they thought the match will end in draw but unfortunately Lens takes the lead. Those who laugh last laugh best this is for Lens after Marseille dominated the entire game.

At the beginning of the season Marseille raised the hopes of many French league1 football fans with how energetic and thriving they were with their games but then they started getting some lapses and couldn't continue at same level competitively with PSG. We can't take it away that PSG has absolute dominance in the league1 right now and I don't see any other team denying them that so soon at any season just as what we saw in the German bundlesliga last season where Bayer Leverkusen intercepted Bayern Munich dominance of the league trophy. Judging by how the results are turning out PSG could actually win the trophy before the season completely concludes.
