Wetin dey, my Bitcoin family!

I dey go by di name "MarryWithBTC," and no be lie, di name get weight! Dis year, by Baba God grace, I wan do something wey fit make me enter Bitcoin history—I wan pay my bride price with Bitcoin!
If you just want make name to enter history books as the first person ever to pay pride prize in Bitcoin, no wahala, I no go talk you out of it. But remember say when you go down this path, you go breach your privacy and also the message wey you go send to people be say you get enough Bitcoin. With the insecurity issues wey dey awa country, you fit end up making yourself potential target for robbery. So this action of yours fit make you famous and at the same time bring you misery and regrets.

I think the op should consider some things before embarking on such journey, one thing the op should consider is whether the parents of the bride is even aware of bitcoin to even accept it in the first place, another thing to consider is the unnecessary exposure of privacy, the country we are, is been governed by gullible minds who are after hunting down anyone suspected to by either a bitcoiner or crypto person because of their inability to differentiate between fraudsters and legitimate tech guys, so for me there are things that are unnecessary considering the county we find ourselves in.
Just as you said,  if he decides to do this, it may be a history created by him at the same time, he may be queried for it and may end up blaming himself for taking such decision, there's nothing bad in what the op has decided to do but the problem is just the country and how timid minded people can be because of lack of awareness and unavailability of the right information about technologically related innovation.
