Anyone who has followed Manchester United journey this season will certainly feel pessimistic about any chances they have, I think that attitude is understandable. Regardless of all that, regarding the second leg match against Real Sociedad, I still tend to think that The Red Devils will eventually manage to advance to the quarter finals.
With 10 players still injured, it certainly won't be easy for Manchester United to beat Real Sociedad, even though the match will take place at Old Trafford. Ruben Amorim, with limited rotation options, must still demand his players to give their best performance. If they can repeat their performance like when facing Arsenal, chances are luck will be on the side of The Red Devils.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe also said that Amorim is still doing good jobs with the players currently owned. But I am not an issue of Amorim but I highlighted how Manchester United's appearance, especially this season. If in UEFA Europe League they get good results, but in the Premier League they become an easy team for opponents to target points every time they face Manchester United.
I think having a pessimistic attitude towards Manchester United when facing Real Sociedad is not without reason where other people might have the same attitude towards the results that Manchester United will get later.
