To me it is pretty obvious Ukraine is going to get the worst out of this deal and they are going to be pretty much mistreated because of the close relationships Trump seems to have with Putin.
First and foremost, Putin will try to get as much territory as possible from Ukraine and Trump won't have any problem with it, so Zelensky will have to either accept to give up land to Russia or continue to fight for their defense. On the opposite extreme of the table we have Trump and Musk, who are only interested on the natural resources or Ukraine for Tesla and other American companies to further enhance their productions of electronics and keep their industry going (with foreign raw materials, that is).
Both the USA and the Russian federation want to have a slice of the cake which Ukraine has become and nobody (but some countries in the European Union) are willing to step up and call out what is going on in these so called negotiation talks or pre-registration talks.
Ironically, all the money the USA will save by not longer helping Ukraine won't be used to take care of people who need medicare or live thanks to food stamps.
Instead of thinking that Trump colluded with Putin and that what his administration is doing will significantly harm Ukraine, look at what the Biden administration has done over the past three years to help Ukraine. Billions of dollars were poured into maintaining the war, but the result was that Russia occupied 4 provinces of Ukraine (10% of Ukraine's area). And what guarantees are there that continued aid to Ukraine will help them turn the tide of the war or just cause them to lose more territory to Russia? This war must end soon, otherwise Ukraine will suffer more serious damage, not just 10% of its territory and national minerals.
Also, whether Trump or Biden is president, the US will take Ukraine's minerals because there is no free lunch, especially the US. They did the same with other countries, Trump just continued the work that the US government had to do and the unfinished task that Biden left.
My prediction of the outcome of the war: America gets minerals, Russia expands its territory, Europe becomes more dependent on America out of fear of Russia, and Ukraine will be the country that suffers the most, losing both territory and mineral resources.
After all: Ukraine is just a piece of cake on the table, and the war is just an excuse for Russia and the United States to legitimize dividing the cake in half.
