Yes, Arsenal have struggled to win the title for a long time because of mentality issues. I admit it, but Arsenal have improved quite well under Arteta.
Everyone knows that Arsenal has improved under Arteta, but for years that Arteta has been in Arsenal, he has not been able to win the premier league title for the club, and we all know that Arsenal really desperate to win the premier league title. All what Arsenal has been getting is ending the second in second position, which is not what Arsenal fans are currently after.
Arteta is always making Arsenal fans expectations so high at the beginning of the season, everyone will start thing Arsenal might be able to win the premier league title, but before the season ends, you will see that Arsenal performance will drop, and will start losing matches which they are not suppose to lose.
Seriously if Arteta doesn’t improve his performance, and start thinking in the right direction, because he is always making similar mistake every season, then people might start requesting for his sack.
Arsenal are a strong team, but the EPL is the most powerful and most difficult league in the world, so when it comes to the top-3 or even top-5, everyone realises that the competition will be very high, and if we talk about the championship, you need to not lose at all since the beginning of the season and keep the bar at the highest level. That's why I'm not surprised to see Arsenal in the top-2, or as it happens in the 3rd place, because it's a high result, on par with winning the title in any other league.
