Nothing is being seen to improve cricket in the country as much as it needed to, rather people's trust in Pakistan cricket is gradually being lost. In this situation, if they want to do well, they will have to improve domestic cricket first. If domestic cricket does not improve, then the chances of getting good cricketers in the national team will decrease.

To make things better Pakistan needs to improve cricket at local level so they can find and develop talented players for national team. Not making it to Champions Trophy final and losing fan support are big warning signs. To turn things around board needs to take strong action like replacing bad leaders with good ones. If they do not Pakistan cricket might continue to decline in next few years and urgent changes are needed to restore sport glory and win back fans trust.
